Our Growing Season
Our season begins around March with anemones, ranunculus, tulips, daffodils and hyacinth. There are few scents as sweet as the first flowers of spring. We have carefully selected the most extraordinary varieties over the past few years and look forward to sharing them with you.
Late Spring brings the peonies and irises, two of our favorite flowers. We have increased our stock to over 100 peony plants and over 125 varieties of bearded irises. Many of these are incredibly fragrant and the colors are nothing short of exceptional. Once our garden roses come into bloom, they will continue all summer and are a staple in all of our bouquets. If you have never smelled a fresh cut garden rose you are in for an awakening of the senses.
Summer brings with it all of the annuals with everything from sweet peas, phlox, poppies, stock, snapdragons, strawflowers, zinnias, black eyed susans, and our very beloved pansies. Once the dahlias begin to bloom they take center stage and finish out our season for us. We look forward to sharing everything our garden has to offer with you.
