Our Story
Our little flower farm is located on Camano Island within the beautiful jewel box that is the Pacific Northwest. We live on 2.5 acres surrounded by tall pines, lush cedars and old growth maples where we grow our flowers within a modest space on our back acre. As we are abundant with deer and inquisitive wildlife, many of our flowers are grown in raised beds within a protective fence. In return, we grow many pollinator friendly plants all over our farm and try to provide a refuge for the owls, bats and other fauna that frequent our garden by night.
Our three boys are often lending a hand to all aspects of growing and harvesting, and our three canines loyally oversee all the work that’s being done. We have a dozen bantam hens that provide eggs and entertainment and a sweet pair of ducks that are on endless slug patrol. Our most recent addition is a sweet old kitty that adopted us and happily patrols for mice. All of our flowers are grown from seed and it takes our whole family to keep them growing season after season.
We are passionate about our flowers and love to share them the way we see them. There is a large window beside our kitchen table and for a couple hours each morning the light filters through in such a way that it perfectly illuminates the magnificence of each flower. We do our best to capture them just as they are without any editing, so it is just the light and flowers themselves that do all the work. These are the photos you see within our website and on our instagram page. We hope they allow you to see the flowers in a new light with the smallest details visible.
Our flowers are available by request anytime throughout the growing season. We love doing bouquets for special occasions or no occasion at all. We offer market bouquets at varying local businesses and take part in artisan and farmers markets within the community. Please feel welcome to reach out to us anytime you are in need of flowers. We are grateful for your support.
